(Lenexa, Kansas, USA – June 2, 2015) SOR Inc. introduces QuickShip for the most in demand 800 series products – 805PT pressure transmitter, 815PT smart pressure transmitter and 815DT smart differential pressure transmitter. With QuickShip, products will leave the SOR Lenexa, Kansas factory from inventory within 2 business days and have the same built-to-order quality found with every SOR instrument shipped. Customers can utilize the QuickShip program to meet urgent needs when there is unforeseen downtime.

 

Sensor technology innovation is the differentiator for products in the 800 series. The welded stainless steel sensor eliminates the need for an o-ring and is extraordinarily reliable, accurate and immune from hydrogen and other contaminant based influences from the process. These sensors are protected by a rugged and compact cast stainless steel electronics housing topped off with a 3 year warranty and global certifications.

 

The 805PT pressure transmitter is ideal for applications where low-cost, continuous pressure transmitter monitoring is preferred. It is built tough to provide “set it and forget it” reliability in oil and gas production applications like casing and tubing on individual wellheads. Ranges available are 100 to 10,000 psi and zero and span are field adjusted via SOR Calibration Manager software.

 

HART®7 Communication Protocol and Modbus® RTU Serial Communications are standard with the 815PT smart pressure transmitter. The 815PT is ideal for applications like the remote monitoring of casing, tubing, horizontal separator and heater treater pressures at oil & gas well sites. It is compact, loop-powered and rugged for hazardous locations and hostile environments where space is limited. Ranges span from 5 to 30,000 psi with a +0.1%.

 

The newest addition to the 800 series product line is the 815DT smart differential pressure transmitter. Like the 815PT, the 815DT is easily configured using HART® 7 and Modbus® RTU protocols, and standard outputs to meet applications where low cost, discrete and continuous monitoring is required or preferred. It is a loop-powered, microprocessor based differential pressure transmitter offering a configurable single-pole, single-throw, normally-open, solid-state relay. Additionally, the 815DT is available as soon as needed via the QuickShip program.
